A cost-effective method of feeding animals is to have farm-saved cereals. Primarily barley is saved or stored on the farm. We have formulated rations for farmers to blend with their own barley while at the same time not compromising on quality. The animals will still get the required minerals as they are included at double the usual rate and their required protein and fibre needs also. It is a cost-effective method to feed and allows great flexibility in feeding animals at different growth stages.
A ration formulated for mixing with farm-stored grain. It is 20% protein with high levels of energy and fibre. The mineral package is included at 4% to ensure adequate levels are maintained. The ration can be used with the farmers own barley or wheat at a ratio of 50:50 or 60:40 depending on the protein required.
This ration is similar to the baancer20 ration, the main difference is that this ration is higher in protein at 26%. This allows the farmer to use more of their own barley when using this ration at a ratio of 60:40 to 80:20. Again it depends on the protein required. This ration also has 4% minerals included.
